Frame size listings:
All frame sizes listed are the sight size measured to the nearest ⅛ inch. Sight size refers to the smallest interior measure or opening size as viewed from the front of the frame. The inside back measure that the art or a mirror would fit into is referred to as the rabbet size. This will usually be ¼ to ⅜ inch wide on each side. For example: A frame with a sight size of 23 ½ X 29 ½ inches will usually have a rabbet size in back of 24 X 30 inches that the artwork or mirror will fit into. We can supply you with the exact measurements for any of our frames per your inquiry.
Atelier Richard Boerth currently has a collection of hundreds of antique frames in many sizes and styles that are not shown. Please inquire if there is particular style or size you are searching for.
Mirror frames that are shown that have original or antique mirrored glass in them are noted. We can provide new mirror, beveled or plain, or a mirror with an antique appearance at an added cost, if requested.
Packing and Shipping
Packing and shipping is not included in the listed prices. We will request shipping quotes from shipping agents for our our clients if requested or they may make their own arrangements.
Packing and shipping will be professionally done by a packing and shipping company.
Insurance for the shipment is strongly recommended. The charges for these will be added to the invoice amount.
Since the sizes, weights and delivery time requirements vary considerably for each item, the packing and shipping charges will be quoted individually.
We can assist in resolving any shipping issues but we will not assume any liability for the shipment once it leaves our premises.
In the event a frame is damaged in shipping, the buyer will need to file a claim with the shipper immediately. Any reimbursement will come from the shipper or the shipper’s insurance company. Atelier Richard Boerth shall not be held liable for refunds due to damage during shipping.
Please inquire for more details.
In order to return a frame, we must be notified within 5 days from the day you receive the item.
We will issue a refund, less a 10% restocking fee, when we have the item back in our possession and in the same condition as when it was shipped from Atelier Richard Boerth. Packing and shipping charges are not refundable.
The buyer is responsible for the costs of return shipping.
