Description

This imposing frame has a flat sight edge with curling leaves and flowers rising in an ogee profile festooned with leaves and flowers. The extended corners and centers have scrolling leaves, medallions, C-scrolls and flowers. The top edge is flat with ornament extending over it. The sides are coves with a back edge adorned with extended leaf and medallion cartouches between C-scrolls with flutes between. Original gilding. The top crest is missing.
