Description

This frame has a flat sight edge rising in steps to a narrow rope twist surrounded by a raised convex/concave moulding. The cove has a diamond shaped “quilted” motif topped by a delicate half round fish scale design above two small coves. This top edge has eight leaves draped over it at regular intervals. Coved sides and a foliate back edge. Original gilding.
