Description

This frame has a flat sight edge with a row of beads and a flat band above. The fluted cove has wide acanthus leaves at the corners and and an overlapping “coins” motif between two raised bands at the top edge. Cove sides with a stylized leaf motif at the back edge. The original gold leaf surface remains underneath a re-gilding with gold metal leaf and portions painted black.

Any of our frames can be restored, re-sized or have a gilded liner added to alter the size.
